Himanshu's focus areas include AC Drives, General Motion Control, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and Machine Vision.

 

Himanshu has 25+ years of direct experience in motion control equipment for machinery automation.  His areas of experience include marketing, strategic planning, product management, application engineering, new business development, domestic and international sales, strategic alliances and partnership, acquisition determination, facility move and integration, design engineering and customer service. He is also the principal author of ARC's worldwide and regional reports on automation products and services for Discrete and Process Industries. 

Himanshu has been with ARC for six years.  Prior to joining ARC, Himanshu held senior positions at Control Systems Research, Contraves, and, most recently, at Cleveland Motion Controls.  All of these companies were engaged in design, manufacture, and sale of servo drives and motors, variable speed drives, single and multi-axis motion controllers, and specialized motion control systems.  At these companies, Himanshu's responsibilities included product management, domestic and international sales and marketing, strategic business plan development and implementation, establishment and management of sales channels, application support, sales and product training, product development, and design engineering.

Himanshu holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University and a B.S. degree from Gujarat University in India.  He also received Business Administration Certification from the University of Pittsburgh with concentration in Marketing, Accounting, Business Law, and Finance.
